🔒 Our Core Privacy Promise: Zero File Retention
At ApnaPrinter, we believe your personal documents belong solely to you. We do NOT collect, store, sell, or archive any documents, photos, or files uploaded through our QR print kiosk system. All uploaded files are processed temporarily and deleted instantly and permanently the moment printing is completed or rejected.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
When customers use ApnaPrinter at a print shop or cyber café, we enforce strict zero-data collection protocols:
- No File Storage: Uploaded documents (PDF, DOCX, DOC) and images are processed transiently in temporary memory. Files are automatically erased from our server storage immediately after printing.
- No Account Creation: End customers scan the QR code and print without creating an account, registering an email, or entering a phone number.
- No Document Indexing or Content Analysis: We do not scan, extract text, view, or analyze the content of your files.
2. Instant Auto-Deletion Architecture
Our software is engineered around real-time file deletion:
- Successful Prints: Once the shop owner approves and the print job completes, the server executes an unrecoverable file wipe.
- Rejected Prints: If an order is declined by the shop owner, the file is immediately purged from the system.
- Abandoned Orders: Unprinted draft orders are auto-cleared after a maximum timeout of 10 minutes.
3. Information We Collect from Shop Owners
To provide subscription services to print shop owners, we collect minimal operational information required to manage accounts:
- Business name, contact email address, and phone number.
- Billing information for monthly or annual plan subscriptions processed through secure PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.
- Basic usage metadata (e.g., total count of pages printed per month) for billing verification and reporting on your shop dashboard.
4. Data Security & Encryption
All data transmitted between the customer's phone, our server, and the shop owner's desktop print engine is secured using industry-standard TLS 1.3 (HTTPS) end-to-end encryption. This prevents unauthorized interception or sniffing on public or shop Wi-Fi networks.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do NEVER sell, rent, trade, or share any user or shop data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Third-party services are strictly limited to payment processors (e.g., Razorpay / UPI gateways) required to process shop subscription payments.
